Plumbers

Plumbers work on the pipes and fittings that bring water into a home and take waste water away: taps, toilets, sinks, baths, showers, appliance connections, supply pipes, waste pipes, cylinders, radiators and valves. Many also install and repair central heating pipework.

Gas Safe registered engineers

By law, anyone working on gas appliances or gas pipework – boilers, gas fires, gas hobs and cookers – must be on the Gas Safe Register. Many plumbers are also Gas Safe registered heating engineers, but not all, so always check the register before boiler work.
